Signing in with a PIN

How people identify themselves on a shared device.

The device stays signed in to your club, so people don’t log in with an email and password. Instead, each person identifies themselves with a short PIN when they do something on the device.

When you’ll be asked for a PIN

A PIN session ends when you tap Home, finish a self-serve purchase, or the till is left idle. After that, the next person identifies themselves afresh.

High-trust mode

Small clubs where everyone knows each other can turn off some PIN prompts in Settings. This trades a little security for speed — see "PINs and security".
